Leap of Passion: The Journey of Kia Chouhan

My name is Kia Chouhan. I am a graduate in Mass Media from Thakur College Kandivali

I practise gymnastics and perform yoga daily as I believe it’s important to keep yourself healthy, fit and active.

I’m crazy about acting since childhood. As a child I have taken part in many school plays, skits.

I remember practising and locking myself in a room for 8-10 hours when i initially began my career in the field of acting. I yet do that, as I believe I need to blend myself into the role I am playing and give in more than a 100%.

I come from a family which has no background in the Media and Entertainment industry and hence it was a mountain for me to climb and convince my family for me to be part of this industry.

But all said and done, I would like to give this entire credit to my biggest support, role model and pillar of my life, which is my mother who could see right through me and never gave up on me, nor my dreams, my talents and pushed me to go the extra mile for various auditions and that’s how I bagged roles for television series like Savitri Devi College and Hospital, Kulfi Kumar Baje Wala. I was also part of KumKum Bhagya which is very close to my heart where I got the opportunity to showcase my talent did negative role with various shades which was appreciated

I have been part of various commercials adds and web films as well. I am currently doing a Feature Film named “Objection My Lord”. The film is based on courtroom drama comedy

I’m blessed to have worked with ayaz kohli sir who is multitalented in every angle and has immense knowledge. The co stars in this project include well renowned senior actors who are supportive and friendly and there is so much that I am learning from them every single day during our shoots. The crew is amazing and also we are having fun

Acting has been my passion right throughout all these years and now I look forward to taking the leap to the next level into more challenging roles and projects.
